About the Project
GreenErasmus is a bilateral Erasmus+ project: Training Course in Ireland (11-17 February 2024) that wants to answer these questions: 1. How to incorporate environmentally friendly practices in daily youth work to combat climate change.; 2. How to create greener activities for the youths they work with; 3. How to implement EU Climate Law using non-formal education methods; 4. How to learn from each other to create eco-fun-filled activities that youth enjoy to reduce the risk of climate change locally; 5. How to teach youths and young children their global responsibilities in line with UN SDGs; 6. How to use YouthPass competencies and Erasmus priority: to engage youths to be more sustainable in their local community; 7. How to teach eco-friendly practices to youths with fewer opportunities (asylum seekers, Ukrainian refugees, and other migrants group), and how to use youth work to link with UN SGDs for a greener EU. The Training Course will bring together 30 participants including youth workers, youth volunteers, young mentors, and youth coaches. This project involves 6 countries (5 participants per country).
